Installing Sophos on Windows Vista
The following instructions and images pertain specifically to installing Sophos Anti-Virus software.

The software is available on our file servers. Click on the link below to proceed.
Or, click Start, Run, type in the link above and click on OK (Figure1).

Enter your trinity\username and password and click on OK (Figure 2).

Double-click the SAV7 file to run the installer (Figure3).

On the self-extracting archive screen, click Install to proceed with the Sophos installation (Figure 4.1).

Sophos will then begin self-extracting to your machine (Figure 4.2).

Please wait while Symantec Anti-Virus is removed from your computer and Sophos Anti-Virus installs. This process could take several minutes, but should be completed in less than an hour (Figures 5.1 - 5.4).

When Installation is complete, you will notice a gray Sophos shield icon appear in the system tray (Figure 6).

Once this phase of the installation is complete, you must restart your computer. Once your computer has been restarted, double click on the gray Sophos shield in the lower right hand corner of your taskbar as this will update Sophos. Upon completion, the gray Sophos icon in your system tray will turn blue (Figure 7).

*If you are prompted by a Security Warning, click "Run."
