Videoconferencing
The AT&T Center for Learning and Technology manages the videoconference facilities for the University and makes them available to all faculty and staff for University business. Our facilities are also available to off-campus groups for a fee. Our videoconference equipment can connect via ISDN phone lines for the highest video and audio quality, or over the Internet for a lower-quality but much less expensive solution.
When utilizing ISDN lines, departments are charged for the line cost. Videoconferences using Internet IP are free for University classroom and administrative purposes. Our equipment consists of two Polycom Viewstation FX model PN4-14s. One unit is permanently located in Northrup Hall room 040; the other is located in the CLT, and can be used in Coates Library rooms 103 and 101Q. To schedule a videoconference, email or call the CLT office at x7323.
