Antivirus Support

In an ongoing effort to improve your computing experiences at Trinity, Information Technology Services (ITS) has partnered with Sophos to provide Sophos anti-virus software on all Faculty, Staff and Student computers. Our testing and analysis of Sophos has revealed noticeable benefits for computers having Sophos software installed.

Installing Sophos provides the following advantages:

» It uses less system resources making your computer run more efficiently.

» Time-saving, fully automated process removes Symantec, Trinity’s current antivirus software before installing Sophos.

» Easy-access toolbar icon opens a user-friendly application interface for viewing and monitoring computer health.

» Better identification and protection from malware such as viruses, spyware and malicious code.

» In order to pass Clean Access posture assessment, Sophos must be installed on your computer.
