Wireless Networking at Trinity
Trinity University offers wireless access to the Internet and the Trinity network. There are two wireless networks (TUSecure and TUGuest) available across all of upper and lower campus including the residence halls. We offer 802.11n wireless speeds across campus, which is the latest in wireless technology. 802.11n is also backward compatible with 802.11b/g wireless cards and makes upgrading hardware unnecessary.
Use of the wireless networks requires a Trinity user account.
Clean Access
Once users have connected to a wireless network, they will have to authenticate on the network using Cisco Clean Access. Certain devices such as game consoles can be registered and used on TUGuest. For more information and instructions, go to the Cisco Clean Access Information page.
Wireless Printing
The TigerCard office has made software available that allows Students using the wireless network to print in the labs using Pharos Uniprint. For instructions on how to download and install the software, please read entry #1 on the TigerCard Office FAQ page.
TUSecure
TUSecure gives users access to all Trinity network resources and provides wireless encryption. In order to access TUSecure, users must have a wireless card that supports WPA/WPA2 Enterprise encryption and PEAP authentication.
TUGuest
TUGuest gives users access to the Internet, Trinity websites and basic e-mail only and does not provide wireless encryption.
