Offensive Assistant Coach of Football (Wide Receivers). The position is a full-time, nine month contract staff appointment beginning August 1, 2012. Compensation will be approximately $19,000 with benefits. The position reports to Head Coach of Football. Web Content Specialist for University Communications
Trinity University seeks an individual experienced in digital content creation and management for Web-based communications and social media. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for University Communications, this individual will serve as the primary coordinator of Web-based and social media communications, providing Web writing/editing, content posting and development, as well as leadership and strategic planning for existing and future content. Qualifications include excellent Web writing skills; video shooting/editing and photography experience; knowledge of common content management systems; a firm understanding of best practices in the area of social media, including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn; proofing and copy editing skills; ability to communicate effectively and creatively, both verbally and in writing. Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, English, or a related field and three years experience in Web content development or any combination of experience that provides the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge, and ability to perform the job. SUMMARY
Responsible for organization, management, and reporting on all business and fiscal affairs for Trinity University Press, as well as general office manager functions. Trinity University Press, a nonprofit publisher affiliated with Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, publishes ten to twelve books a year, with a staff of six.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages in-house book sales and shipping, accounts receivable, and revenues from several sources
- Manages accounts payable and all general ledger activities and reports
- Maintains the Press's separate QuickBooks accounts and reconciles the Press's accounts with the University's overall accounting system
- Prepares sales reports, and coordinates data from multiple sources to track fiscal affairs of the Press.
- Maintains the royalty system, prepares royalty statements, and disbursements
- Maintains inventory system and prepares inventory reports and inventory valuation
- Reconciles revenues from the Press's off-site distributor with statements of sales and charge backs
- Assists the director with preparing budgets and forecasts for revenues, expenses, and cash flow
- Oversees office equipment, orders office supplies
- Handles credit card statements, travel reports, and other University documents
- Assists with books sales events, involving evening and weekend work
- Works with student interns to train in business-related functions
- Cooperates and collaborates with other employees in the spirit of teamwork and collegiality.
- Complies with all Trinity University policies and guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Candidates must have an Associate's degree and a minimum of three years' experience in working with all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, strategic resource planning, and analysis. A Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business is preferred. Must have strong organization, project management, and analytical skills. Must be resourceful and able to manage a wide range of tasks, often with shifting priorities and time frames. Must be able to problem solve, independently exercise sound judgment, and work with a small fast-paced team. Must have proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and QuickBooks, as well as experience with database systems. Excellent written and oral communications. Experience in book publishing preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
ATTENDANCE STANDARD
Maintaining and satisfying minimum attendance requirements is an essential function of this position, including working all full-time regular hours as established for this position and any scheduled or emergency overtime. All employees in this job classification are required to satisfy this requirement. This job classification may not include "light duty" work or allow unpredictable or unrestricted absences.

Web Developer for University Communications
Trinity University seeks an individual experienced in Web Development. The position will help the University extend its brand through a variety of digital platforms.
In particular, the Web Developer will be responsible for development and maintenance of websites and pages, as well as participating in the development of other digital applications as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have two years professional experience, a bachelor's degree in computer science, communications, or related field, the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and experience with the following:
· XML, XSLT, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
· The candidate should also have an understanding of Web functionality, as well as experience in using, and developing web sites in, content management systems.
S/he will also be responsible for training and assisting departments and offices with their digital efforts.
Other preferred skills include familiarity with: Flash, ASP, SQL, PHP, and best practices in the area of Web communications.
