Trinity University's KRTU-FM, San Antonio, seeks a dynamic individual for the position of Operations Manager for a non-commercial, jazz and alternative/ indie rock student HD radio station.

Responsibilities: Primary responsibility will be the healthy day-to-day operations of radio station hardware and software as directed by the Associate General Manager for Programming, faculty Station Liaison, and General Manager. Additional duties will extend to peripheral station systems such as webcasting, web maintenance, and graphic design. Works with students, volunteers, and paid staff to see that the mission is achieved. The mission of KRTU-FM is to support and enhance the academic curriculum and to advance Trinity University’s leadership in the fine arts and in the dissemination of knowledge for the enrichment of the lives of its students and the community.

Qualifications: Should have a college degree and knowledge of non-commercial radio station operations including basic knowledge of FCC rules and regulations and advanced knowledge of computer systems (knowing RCS a plus). Must be able to train, recruit, and supervise students and volunteers. Weekly on-air shift required. Must have reliable transportation. Ideal candidate will have two or more years of experience.

Salary:

Full-time, $30,000-$35,000 per annum
