Trinity University invites applications for the position of Institutional Research Analyst. The Institutional Research Analyst will provide support to assist the Office of Institutional Research in its goal of providing accurate information to internal and external constituencies to assist them in making optimal decisions concerning the University.

The Institutional Research Analyst will work with the Director of Institutional Research to create data sets and reports from various institutional databases and external resources; assist with survey administration; perform statistical analyses of data as appropriate; present findings in narrative, tabular, and graphical forms; disseminate information learned from quantitative analyses; produce and submit a variety of regular and ad hoc reports; respond to internal and external requests for information. Studies involve areas such as admissions, financial aid, retention, and student learning.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Quantitative course work preferred. A strong interest in quantitative analysis and proficiency in Excel and Access. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and high level of attention to detail. The ability to acquire new knowledge and skills independently. The ability to handle confidential materials professionally. Experience with relational databases preferred. Experience in higher education preferred.
